| Adding siblings???? I was wondering if I could eventually bring a little sister home for Maximus. What are the chances that they will get along? Of course, I don't think it will be any time soon, but I did mention to my dh that I would LOVE to add a little girl one day. Maximus is only 12 weeks old (tomorrow), but I love that little booger so much! I can only imagine how much fun I would have dressing up a little girl! Maximus will be getting neutered and my "lil Princess" will be spade. Will I still have issues of "mating"? Is it just in dogs to do that kind of stuff? or if they are fixed young enough, the hormones just go away? I'm not planning running out today, tomorrow, or in the next few months, but I have been considering the thought in the future.

| I think that if you get a compatable female for Maximus while he's still young it will work out. Now, I can't say 100%...but all of mine get along As for the mating issue...all mine are fixed and the still go at it... they have their wants... lol It's mostly Chachi going after Molly. He won't go near Suzie (his baby) or Izze. His one true love is Mol

| My 2 little guys love each other and getting a second little dog worked out really well for us. Some times Brutis really "loves" Zeus but not to often |

| I got Ella Bean right before Louis' first birthday and it worked out well. Both are fixed and no one seems all that interested in 'loving' each other. Louis sometimes tries to 'love' Ella, but its weird, only after she has been bathed....I think its because she smells different...but its strange! I love having two dogs. They play and wrestle and my girl is tough as nails and beats Louis up, even though he weighs 10 lbs more!! They also snuggle!

| new baby I just added a new baby...Maci..she is 12 weeks and Ive had her since she was 7weeks(too to young I know, it was me or someone else and I wanted HER!) anyways Mac (my male) is 2 years old and his feelings are still hurt! They play good for the most/some part, but if Maci licks or tries to bite my feet or even gets too much attention Mac will protect me with a few harsh nips to her rear! And it is hard not to love on a new baby!.. He will not let her play with ANY of her toys, He puts them all out of her reach(couch, chairs, my bed..etc) any type of snack he will run hide his then snatch hers away and has given me a few harsh growls when I try to take it back....I am thinking he should of been "an only puppy"....If I had to do it over I think I would have got his "playmate" sooner..so they could grow up together....Mac has been my lovey boy and has had our undivided attention for 2 years and Maci seem to threaten his ALPHA DOG standing in our house...He just cant understand that he is still my #1 boy! lol |

we have 2 girls.. and i was SO worried that Avie would NOT like Gemma.. but she did AMAZING, right from the start!! the 2 main things we did were: -a quick introduction, outside the house (we just did it in the front yard) and only for a couple minutes.. (let Avery smell Gemma, etc.) then we took them inside -also, we made sure to greet Avery, first.. pay EXTRA attention to her.. etc. that way she still felt completely spoiled and loved and didn't have any resentment towards Gemma! i could NOT have had a better experience, bringing home Avie's lil sister!! they LOVE each other so so much!! they are BEST FRIENDS for sure.. their personalities are a great balance to each other! Their daddy & I, could not imagine not having them both.. and i KNOW they couldn't either!! (by the way, to answer your question.. Avery and Gemma are almost exactly a year apart.. we brought Gemma home at almost 16 weeks-because she was so little. Avery was about 1 year 4 months old! )

| my 2 sisters.. I brought Peanut home first when she was 8 weeks, then No body wanted Precious so I took her about not quiet 2 weeks later... its been horrible! They used to play but now its just all out aggression .. but yet they cant be seperated! they sleep together and all that but if u pay attention to Peanut more or even pet her or talk toher .. Precious will shoulder her then attack .. Ive heard male/female in this breed work better then same sex.. wish I knew that then, they had a little brother that lives up the street from me ! I love my girls but they are alot of work ! |
