| I HAVE to share this.... So us being yorkie owners know the reactions you get from others when they see you little squirt walking around in his or her clothes, etc. Well this morning I went to a drive thru coffee place and this lady when bananas! She just thought Maija was the CUTEST thing (Who could blame her). She started talking to her and all this stuff. I don't think I have ever had a reaction that big! What are some reactions ya'll (I'm from Texas ) have gotten from others?

| That's funny, I just recently had the same experience! Except I had all 4 of mine with me! The girl was making such a fuss over them that I thought the people behind me were gonna start a ruccas! They always get lot of attention - and they love it!

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Everywhere I take my gang i get lots of "awwws" then comments about how big they are, but always nice, then they want to pet them. The saddest was one time in Petco, when Baxter was just about 6 mos old. This lady spotted us and started bawling her eyes out on the spot. She asked me if she could hold him, of course I said yes. Baxter went crazy and was licking her all over her mouth , she let him. After she calmed down a bit, she pulled one of those little brag books out of her purse, Baxter looked just like her Yorkie girl that had died a few months before, the same golden/red coloring and all. I started crying, becauce you could tell how much this dog was loved. It had its own pillow with its name monogrammed on the pillow case, and quite a wardrobe and it seemed as if she had taken her everywhere, from the pics. She was at Petco because it was the day they have all the rescues in, and she was looking for another baby. It was almost three years ago, and I still remember her, and hope she found another baby. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Kay, I felt so bad for her....good thing I am not a breeder...I would have told her to come get a puppy....LOL. Her sister was there, and she said she kept trying to steer her in another direction in the store, because she knew the resemblance was so strong she would get upset. My husband, who is probably the least sappy person I know, said that it was meant to be, and said Baxter was so smart, he went right to her and loved on her, and that is what she needed most |

YT 1000 Club Member | That is the sweetest most touching story. My eyes instantly welled up. These little yorkies really do capture your heart with all love they give. How could anyone resist wanting to talk and pet them when they see them. |

| What a sweet story! The one time that stands out in my mind... I was in PetSmart with Bonnie and this creeepy guy holding a cat comes up and starts talking to her in baby talk... while I'm holding her. Then he lets her kiss him on his mouth, all the while not saying one word to me. I found a quick excuse to leave! Haha! |

| That is so sweet...I love how we can connect with perfect strangers over our babies.... I got the funniest reaction one time driving home to DC from New Jersey and going through a toll booth!! The toll booth employee started cooing over my pups and asking me all kinds of questions - she must have kept me there talking for 10 minutes!!! It was a BUSY TOLL BOOTH!! LOL!!!!

I know, one of the good things about having your pets with you is that they are an instant ice-breaker. people want to talk about them, etc. But I would have been a little weirded out by that | |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I had my carpets cleaned by Sears today and due to a mixup they didn't have my phone number to call me with a time frame. so ay 7:30 this morning they show up and I hadn't gotten to but the 4 girls away in the den. The head guy comes in and goes crazy for the girls especially for my Pom. He tells me he has 3 poms at home and takes out his cell phone and shows me all theses pictures of them, then he calls his girlfriend and tells her about all my girls and then asks if he could take a picture with his cell phone to show his girlfriend.
