| Help....Should we get another Yorkie? My husband and I currently have a 5 year old male Yorkie and are considering getting a female Yorkie puppy this week. We have no children so Max (the Yorkie) is our baby. We are worried about how he would react to a new "baby" in the house. Any thoughts? |

| oh yeah....introduce them some where besides your house first, because Max has already claimed that ...give him the most attention at first...i know it will be hard to do....But its important that Max still feels like #1....it helps with him accepting the new little girl! |

| I would get a female too...and I like the idea of introducing them to each other before making a final decision. That way you can see how they react to each other and maybe get an idea if their personalities are compatible. I would get a little boy in a heartbeat to keep Olivia company, if only dh would agree! Funny thing - as young parents years ago, we had the same worries about having our second child "How will #1 baby react to #2?" LOL
