| clipping ears??? Hi everyone!! I am getting Lola on Friday!! I am so excited! She is arriving at 1050am! My breeder said her ears are fully up now and when she goes to the groomer on Thursday they will clip her ears. What does that mean?? Are they going to cut off a portion of her ears at the tip???? THe breeder said it will help with keeping the ears up. I attached 2 pics of her from last week where her ears were starting to go up. They were completely flopped down when she was at 8 weeks. |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | No, they aren't clipping her ears...the ears are tipped...meaning they remove the hair around the edges and shave them 1/3 down...front and back. I betcha can't wait til Friday.

| she looks so sleepy. I take it to mean "use clippers on" as in cut off the hair so that her ears won't be weighed down. i don't think groomers are in the practice of cutting off puppy parts |

| I figured I couldnt take it literally....lol! Yeah, I thought she looked a bit mean or tired in these photos, but the breeder did say that the puppy wanted to sleep when she took the photos. I just hope that she will be playful and more alert/happier looking when I see her Friday! |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Oh your so lucky..great early Christmas gift. Aidens ears never went up any more than your little girl right now. I tried taping and shaving them, but no luck. They'll shave them for you. The hair can weigh them down. Teething also effects the ears going up,but Aiden is 9 mo and I think it's not going to happen, but he's still adorable.
