| HELP! Please, should I take Luna to see my cousin's yorkie pup? I need everyone's advice. I was wondering if it would be ok to take Luna to interact and play with my cousin's new yorkie pup tonight. The reason I ask is because, although Luna has all her shots, her yorkie doesn't. I would obviously love to take Luna, but I am afraid that the puppy is still too young to be around older dogs because of the puppy only has 1 or 2 pair of shots. suggestions?

| I wouldn't personally, as it's just not worth the risk to either of them, slight as it may be. I take it your cousin doesn't live too far away, so I'm sure Luna and the new puppy will become best of friends sooner or later. |

| I totally agree with fasteddie. YOu don't want to risk thelife ot the new one. Eventhough it would be cute to watch them play together. Not bringing yours would be best.

| I agree with the other posts, you just can never be too "protective"...Before you know it, your cousins Yorkie will be up to date on all her shots and Luna will have a new playmate. When the time comes, get some pictures as I bet it will be adorable.

| I agree with everyone above. I think it's a good idea to wait till the pup gets all of the shots. You never know what can happen. |

| I also agreed with everyone. Is best for both the pups to wait until your cousin's pup get all his shots. Very soon both will be playing. Please do get some pics I will love to see the new pup. |

| sorry to say but we left before anyone had replied to this post, however they really didn't get to interact much because her puppy was sleeping most of the time and a lot smaller, so I'm happy about that.

| When I first got Archie, he had all his shots, but I was advised to not let him play with other dogs or to take him out on the grass until I saw the vet first and then got all the sets of shots, etc. Also, I had to be careful that Archie, if he had mites or anything, would not transmit it to another dog. I would suggest waiting until your cousin's yorkie gets an OK from his or her vet that the yorkie can play with other dogs. |

| Sorry that the last post I made here was so short and tot he point, I was just very tired...anyhow like I said I am so glad that you all have provided suggestions and most of all honesty. I regret taking Luna to see Tikki (my cousin's 9 wk old yorkie) but I am happy that they were only together for very brief moments, not even 5-10 mins total. Tikki seemed frightened by Luna's energy, Luna wanted to play of course but Tikki was too small to understand that. She was sleeping most of the time in another room. Tikki is so adorable! Wait until my cousin introduces Tikki to the board!! It definately makes me want to have another Yorkie. I am so glad that Luna now has Tikki as a playmate!

| Can't wait to see Tikki, that's a great name by the way, let your cousin know that (or show her this thread). Luna and Tikki will have years and years of fun together, that's great to have a buddy for your baby. And perhaps if in some emergency or whatnot, your cousin can look after Luna if you can not be by her side. |

| Fasteddie, that is for sure! I am so so happy that Luna and Tikki have each other. I will show my cousin this thread! She was going to post pictures last night of Tikki but she was unable to for some reason or another. I'm sure she'll post them up soon. She is so adorable!!
