| My puppy is playing with the water in her dish! I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else. Today, she splashed and played with her water several times today and even moved the dish away from it's normal spot...She is just over 4 months old... |

| Gracie loves the water. Any water that isn't bath water that is. She has stood in her water bowl and plyed before. I'm hoping it is a phase that she'll out grow.

| Cassi used to play with her water as well. I had the self watering system and would find most of the water on the floor. So eventually I switched to the ceramic bowls that are held up by a wrought iron base. Something similar to the link below. I haven't had any problems since. | Sophie is 8 1/2 mo. and still "dances" in the water dish occasionally. I put a towel under the dish and that helps with the mess. Shes's so cute when she does it, I think she likes the splashing sound.

| My littlest one starting 'swimming' in the water bowl this past Summer - I think he was hot - so I just kept a towel under the bowl for a while

| Abigail's dish is a double plastic dish so she cannot see her reflection in it. I guess she just found it fun to splash and make a mess! |

| Yup, mine did that when they were young. They grew out of it though! I'd come home to an empty waterbowl and a soaking wet pup! haha I have tile floor so it didnt really matter to me, it was actually cute! I am glad he did outgrow it though!

| My Missy Moo plays in the water & food dish all the time. I think it started because she was chasing the bubbles in the bottle. The best/worst part is she has now taught Max her Daddy to do it too. So I have two wet babies instead of just the one. I guess I could have three wet babies though...LOL I have tried the towel under the dish but, when they are both attacking it it doesn't work. Lucy though lovesthe sprinkler/hose. She is hilirous attacking the water from the sprinkler. She can't figure out which one to get first...lol It is too cold now for her to do it but, I look forward to next summer. I just wish they liked bath time as much as making a mess! |

| LOL, too cute! You have a water baby! She's going to love baths & I would bet love to play in the pool too. Princess was just the same way, she's a water baby and so are two of her three babies. Just make sure you watch her around water, sit back and enjoy the laughs she's going to give you

| I have a water player too... she has been known to crawl right in a friends big bowl and sat down. We laughed and laughed... I have watched her stick her nose in... push it away from her and blow bubbles at the same time... just a little messy but too too cute! Enjoy... I am sure it won't last! I think it is cute but I also have tile and it is easily cleaned up!

| I have a water baby too. My Chip started playing in his water this spring. He will not stop until the bowl is dry, and he is soaking wet. I tried changing his bowls to plastic, plain white, and the ones in the racks off the ground. He still did it. I had to get a glass feeder that you hang on cages, and put it on the X-Pen. He does good with that, but still plays in water when he gets a chance. He was so bad we started calling him Dippy instead of Chippy. He looks cute when he does it though.

| My female - Tinka, does this regularly. I have tried different bowls and she still does it. My male had never done it though and looks at Tinks like she's looney when she is digging the water out of the bowl.
