Donating YT 500 Club Member | Nolee's first at Daycare! Well, I finally decided to send Nolee to daycare! He was too attached and needed some doggie socialization! Well he did great!! He is totally worn out. He slept on my lap all the way home! I would pick him up to hug & kiss him and he would just flop! He is totally worn out!! He ate his dinner and went right back to sleep! He finally got to be a dog!!! He is dirty and a little smelly and I love it!!! I am glad I decided to do this!

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I would love to take my baby to daycare but it is so expensive. I take him to the kennel as few times a year and he loves it. He comes home exhausted and horse. Yea, he can't even speak, his little bark sounds like squeaks. He his pretty well socialized already, but it is good for them to go hang out with their kind and enjoy themselves. |

| I'm thinking of sending Conner to daycare a couple of days a week. I know he will love it.

| I recently started bringing Deegan to Daycare 1-2 days per week too and so glad I found the place! It's nice because it means I don't have to feel guilty if I don't trudge out in the snow with him for a walk to get some energy outta him, but it's also great because he gets to socialize & make some friends. The first day I don't think he quite knew what to expect and was a little nervous through parts of the day, but the second day - he took off into the play area without even looking back at me! lol I was a little offended and hurt, but happy for him at the same time. I think it's a great idea if you can manage it.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Day after and he is still tired! I plan on bringing him at least once a week, possibly twice. It is a little pricey, but I feel he needs this. I will bring he as long as I can afford it. My DH will not allow me to get another puppy, so I think daycare is best for Nolee. Well, now we are going to have a long, long, bath!

| Yay! I'm so glad Nolee had fun! Rory goes to daycare everyday during the week, and she loves it. She literally cries as we approach the daycare out of excitement!

| How cute, I am so glad Nolee had a good time! Bobby went to daycare 2 days this week so I could get some painting done in my house. He loved it! And get this, Its a YORKIE only day care! Its really cute to see, all different yorkies running around. The daycare is ran by a retired couple who love yorkies and devote their lives to them, they also work with a rescue organization. Its so nice to be able to trust someone with our precious babies! Bobby is going to spend his first night away from home next saturday because we are having a halloween party. I am sure he will have lots of fun. |

There are big dogs at daycare, but they are all separated by size. Rory hangs with the mini group, there is a small/medium group, and usually a few groups of large dogs - they never keep more than 15 together at a time. Rory goes to Atlanta Dog Spa: :• Atlanta Dog Spa •: dog boarding, daycare, grooming, training, kennel, Atlanta kennels It's pretty fun to watch all the dogs play in the different areas of the house.

| I used to work at a doggie daycare and it may have just been the one I was at, but I'd feel really nervous leaving my dog at a daycare. There were seperate rooms for the big dogs and the smaller dogs, but they would frequently be put in the same room together, either small dogs going in the big dog room, or the other way around. The smaller dogs would be terriorized by the big dogs, spending alot of their time hiding under things to get away from them. There were a few instances of one of the employee's dogs, a pit bull, attacking the clients dogs. They let in an unneutered dog who would spend the whole day trying to mate with everything that moved. It may have just been that particalar dogcare though. They didn't really seem organized in anything they did. Although I did love be in the rooms with all the little dogs, they were sooo cute running around together. The big dog room generally had alot of labs, and for some reason, about half of them were very badly mannered. I ended up getting bit twice in the face by labs that "wanted to play". |

I went check some places out before putting him here. They gave me the tour of the entire facility and I got to see first hand how it operated during normal hours. I was very impresssed with this place. Check around and go visit. I'm sure you can find one you like!

| I'm sure daycares are like grooming places. Good ones and bad ones. I just like to keep mine at home and then not have to worry what others are doing. So people are there for the check and not the care. I think its great that they can play with other dogs and have fun. Its really a good way to excerise and socialize the dog especially if you are a working person and don't have time to excerise your dog. I think its great they have places like that. Just have to do your research as you would with anything else.
