Introductions... Hiya guys, Well I only have 96 hours to go until I pick up my baby girl and I am soooo riculously excited I cant tell you! Just about managing to sleep at night, but it's hard, I'm having to drug myself!lol I have most stuff sorted out and ready for her coming into the home, but I do have a question which I was hoping you guys could help me with. I dont pick her up until the afternoon and by the time we get home it might well be dark outside. Should I still be taking both the dogs (my Chi,Ellie, and the new pup) to neutral ground to introduce them or can I risk doing it indoors? I am worried about the lack of light and the cold (it's starting to get pretty chilly at night here now). What d'you think? Jess

If it is cold & dark outside, I would introduce them inside. maybe keep the new baby crated until everyone settles down. Happy for you. I know you are so excited!!!!

When we got our new girl we put her in the exercise pen in my bedroom and let them sniff each other through that. At first she was nipping at him and only a few days later she is snuggling up to him all the time and he brings her toys. They are adorable together now but at first I was really worried. Best of luck with your new baby! Post lots of pictures!
