| How Do You Share the Love ? Every time I think about getting another Yorkie, I wonder how we'd share the love. I'm sitting here with Gus in my lap. He's very relaxed, actually sleeping . I find him very comforting in this state. My lap is not currently big enough for two Yorkies. Gus is 8 pounds. Maybe a Yorkie under 5 pounds would work. Tomorrow is Gus' birthday. He'll be one. His puppyhood is gone in age, but not in spirit. He's still so, so mischievous. I do have a 12 year old year old Yorkie, but he's not a lap dog. Never has been, and never will be. |

| I made a similar post when contemplating getting Holly. Trust me, if they are lap dogs they will find a way to be on top of you. There are many times when I have Holly on my shoulder and Gracie on my chest, or Holly on my lap and Gracie on my shoulder. At night they both snuggle up together right next to me. There is enough love to go around. I have to be honest and admit that I have a stronger bond with Gracie, but she was my first dog and I have had her longer. Were just soul mates. Don't get me wrong, I love Holly very much, just not quite in the same way as Gracie. Gracie loves Holly, and thoroughly enjoys having someone to keep her company when I am at work. Gracie is very protective of Holly. We are happy! Oh yes, Gracie and Holly are about a year apart in age.

| I worried too when we decided to get Puff (chi). Gypsy was 2 yrs old and very spoilt. Very much a lap dog. She still is only now she shares my lap with Puff. They both have to give me kisses at the same time. They are competitive for my time but we work it out. Jim sd instead of getting him a furbaby, we got Gypsy one.

| I don't think it's any different than having more than one skin kid. My boys didn't lack in the love and attention department and I had 6.

| Oh believe me my dear, you will be able to share the love. I currently have three yorkies and I love them all SO much!!!! Don't worry about the lap thing - they will fit, even if that means they have to sit on each other!!!!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I use to worry about that before I added a second one but now even with 4 it is easy to love them all. Many times I have 2 in my lap, one on my shoulder and my pom next to me all wanting attention. I keep thinking if only I had another pair of hands. But I just take turns giving belly rubs.
