| He's probably that cold. Sweater doesn't cover the face right? So the cold can still get to him. My 4-month old puppy gets cold easily because her coat is quite thin and short. I know my puppy is feeling cold when her ears are cool to the touch. There could be other reasons why your puppy was shaking, he could also be nervous or afraid in his new surroundings.

| my puppy is the exact opposite. At 10 weeks old she will run out in the cold rain, roll all over the soaking wet lawn then stretch out on the cold floor (while wet) for a nap. I chase her down with a towel, but she just doesn't seem to care. She is about 2.5 pounds.

Perhaps you could look into getting him some fleece jammies that have the legs and put a coat or sweater over them for added warmth. They also make boots for dogs, I would imagine if you could keep his feet and body warm he'd be more comfortable outside . The jammies are made in such a way as he would be able to go potty while wearing them. Several YT'ers make them. And of course, please post pictures of him all bundled up for the artic cold.
