| Short Legs on a Yorkie Puppy- Defect or Normal?? I am looking at getting a Yorkie puppy who appears to be healthy and has a good temperament, but his legs are really short and his body is very compact and squared off. Are the short legs a cause for concern or a possible defect? |

| Short legs and a compact body are desireable I think. Is the rest of his body balanced in size? Sherry

Yorkie Talker | My yorkie was healthy for 15 years..beautiful ling siljy coat..short legs.. flat back.. no problens at all. She passed at 16. Am looking for the same size..and by the way... sge was 4 lbs. 16 yrs ago didnt have to deal with scams..internet..facebook and all this negativity. Now you get criticized for wanting a small yorkie. |

| Duchess has long legs. She has the square body but she is usually taller than other yorkies we have encountered. She weights about 8lbs. |
