YT 2000 Club Member | What "week" is good to pick out a puppy? The litter that Im getting my yorkiepoo from should be born sometime this week. I do believe the momma's due date is tomorrow. The parents are both small (4ish pounds)so Im not expecting the litter to be big. I get first pick, we are close friends with the owners and we've had dibs on a pup since they told us they were breeding thier dogs. I am a sucker for puppies and will want to choose one right away however I would like a pup with a laid back personality, not too aggressive but not lazy either. When do they start showing their personalities? Thanks Terri

I agree and sometimes things happen in the first few weeks too.
