| poopy I just have a queston if someone could please answer it. Scarlet poops probably 5 or 6 times a day. Is that normal? She is 13 weeks old. I know she eats off and on throughout the day, but not significately! I wondering if its because she has been eating my cats food. I try to keep her out of it, but its likes telling a 5 year old to stay away from choclate. She and my cat are best friends and share everything even there food! Im not sure if this is a good or bad thing. Any suggestions or comments would be greatley appreciated. |

| I've never heard of the brand but just looked at the website and just noticed that Mars (manufacturer) just had a voluntary pet food recall. Looks like this brand is produced there. PMI Nutrition |

AAWWWW thanks so much! I know she's in doggy heaven...its just so hard to say good bye to these little guys. I also have 3 furbutts at home that keep me company plus I volunteer for a yorkie rescue. I hope your baby feels better soon. I really hate when they're sick and you don't know whats wrong. I'm a worry wart!! | |

| poopy That's a good question. I feed my 4 month old puppy Life's Abundance and he also poops about 4 - 5 times a day. If we allowed him to eat his big brother's food, we'd have a 15# puppy. Gucci is only 3#. I put his food out in the morning. Sometimes he'll finish before lunch and sometimes I'll get home from work and he's just finishing. I think he's a social eater. . . We then put out another serving which he'll finish before bed. He doesn't eat a whole lot during the day, but will poop just about every time we walk him; when he gets up in the morning, again at lunch time, 5:00 and then again at 9 or 10 when we're getting ready for bed. And SOMETIMES, he'll leave us a little gift as well! The only treats he gets are Cheerios and that's when we're "training". He's coming along, but there's lots of room for improvement in the "come" command! |

| LOL that is a great pic! Mine only poop twice a day and thats because they're on a feeding schedule. I do find that if you free feed they kinda poop alot....but with puppies you have to in a way because they do have to eat more. |

♥ love my girls!! ♥ Donating Member | Bella is 5 mo. old now and is FINALLY pooping less!!! Hurray!! It's still 3-4 times, but that's waaayyyy better than the 6-ish times before..... She eats Wellness and is pad trained. Do you do pads or outside? Sometimes I think Bella just likes to go to her pad billions of times a day....she pees way more than 6 times a day! I wonder if since she's pad trained she never developed the "hold it" mentality....she just goes whenever she slows down a second or feels like she might need to go. She does hold it overnight now sometimes, though (when she's sleeping in my hamper), so that's a start. Maybe she'll go less as she gets older? Is your puppy pad or outside trained?? Just wondering if there's anything to my theory... |
