| Feeding Time How does eveyones baby or babys act when its time to put down there food.... I constanly leave down hard food but when its time to put down Beakers soft food its the funniest thing, it makes me laugh every time... Whenever its time to feed him his soft food he knows, as we walk into the kithchen, there he goes, constant circles around my feet, tail awaging.... He will keep going untill the food goes on the floor. He will even leave my feet and go to someone elses if they two are in the kitchen too at the time..... I can put my hand on him or even pick him up.... then when i let go or put him down... there he goes... circle circle circle....around and around and around he goes.. very fast too... its too cute.. its like a happy dance or as if he is a wind up toy or something... so i was just wondering how your babys acted when it is feeding time... if they too act so crazy.. yet addorable.... |

| ha, Nina gets crazy like that when I first take her out of her crate. She will run in circles around me like a madman until I pick her up and play with her. It is the most hilarious thing to watch. She also goes crazy when she sees her reflection in the glass door. She takes off and slowly come back and when she see herself again, she will run! And that will repeat for another 10 times.. Yorkies are the funniest things to watch! |

| Gucci gets nuts also when she sees me with her plate, she already knows is feeding time. Also if I have a bag in my hands she runs to me thinking is her treats bag. We have a hamster so when im changing her food Gucci is there licking me and barking like asking for some for her. Is too funny. This babies are so smart and cute. By the way gucci gets crazy when she sees her reflection on the mirror. She starts barking and barking like the reflection was another dog. She runs to the mirror barks and then run back and then comes back slowly and start barking again. Too funny. Last edited by Marie; 01-29-2005 at 11:35 AM. |

| It's the same laughing routine daily around here at feeding time. I start off everyday by asking Schatzie and Annabelle, "are you hungry?" Well that gets Schatzie running. She follows me to the pantry, watches me pour Annabelle's cup of food into her bowl and one piece of kibble is given to Schatzie. After chomping the one kibble piece down she makes a mad dash to the kitchen counter to watch me mix her's and Annabelle's dish up. She then runs as fast as she can to Annabelle's eating area to watch me place the dish down, then she runs over to her own eating area and has a look of panic until I put her dish down. Everyday she acts as though she has never had a meal in her life. Cracks me up!! I let Schatzie watch me feed Annabelle first as she has the tendancy to wanna be the alpha dog with Annabelle, so with Schatzie seeing that she gets fed last is aid in helping her to be more submissive and realize that she isn't #1. (I know she's #1 but I know she will act like a brat if she knows she is, so we don't tell her, LOL)

| Oh my gosh! Feeding time is crazy around here. I ask, "Are you ready for breakfast/dinner?" We keep the dry food in a hall closet and once that door pops open, everyone comes running. Luca Dean runs back and forth from the kitchen to the bathroom (because my other 2 get fed in the kitchen, but Luca Dean gets his in the bathroom). He hops, does circles, and he also sits/lays down/sits --- up and down like crazy! And he does one paw at a time when he lays down. It's so funny to watch. It's the sit/down dance!!! Do any of y'alls do that? Last edited by lucynfred; 01-29-2005 at 02:56 PM. Reason: sp |

| Toto almost does "backflips" if she sees me get the tool I use to chop her food! I cut her Natural Balance in little bite sized pieces and as soon as she sees me reach for the chopping tool she just gets so excited she can hardly stand it! If [heaven forbid] I am chopping something for OUR dinner, I always give her a little treat or some other distraction or she dances, jumps and begs the whole time I am at the counter! Come to think of it ... sometimes Patrick does the same thing!!
