| Pantyhose wars. Maya has settled into a good routine now, with mornings being the best. Everything goes according to schedule, and since she is doing so well, I have her in my room while I dress for work. I put my pantyhose on like most of you, one leg at a time, left, then right. However, Maya soon caught on to this, and while I was inserting the left foot, she was grabbing the toe of the right leg and taking off with it as far as it would stretch. After laughing my head off a few mornings at this new ritual, after a few torn up pairs of expensive pantyhose, I still will not ban my baby from my room while I dress. It's difficult, but I have to sit in the middle of my bed to put my pantyhose on in the morning now. This usually results in quite a struggle for me, and Maya on her tippy toes looking wistfully at my pantyhose (that she now cannot reach), but I start every morning with a good laugh.

| Ah! You're like me! I couldn't ban mine, either. It is fun though to see just how far a pair of pantyhose will stretch! Enjoy it while it lasts, because they don't do that forever.

| That's cute. Maya is a brave child, scared of very little, but every morning when I get ready to leave and put her in the laundry room she starts trembling. It makes me feel so bad. Also this morning, not to be graphic.....but I was on the potty myself, and she discovered the toilet tissue roll, snatched the tissue out of my hand and went running with the spool fast unwinding. I didn't even stop her as I was laughing, and she took the end all the way into the upstairs den (quite a distance) LOL.

| Guess she was saying, "Don't go to work, mommie. Let's play instead!"

| Ok at some point I'm going to have to get off my geezer and work out, or they will have to take the door frame out to get my carcus out of here when I die. Maya is like a little sleeping pill, If she crawls up on me and sacks out, the next thing you know we are both snoring away.

| YOu know how it is at Xmas...when you bought your child all of those expesinive toys and they were thrilled with playing in the empty BOX???? Well Maya is surrounded right now with a squeeking pig, a stuffed frog, a ball, and a pink kong.... and what is she trilled to play with ... the plastic catch part off of one of my daughter's sponge rollers.
