| Does your yorkie get mad at you? Yesterday we had visitors all day at the house, they had small children and Dino gets a little scared of small children. I had to keep him separated in one side of the house for most of the day . When everyone left I went to take him out so that he can roam free he started barking at me, almost like if he was screaming at me, and he kept ignoring every command!!! I would get near him and he would run away , this morning he kept the behavior but when I got back from class in the afternoon he gave me his normal friendly welcome and gave me kisses all over. I got to thinking was he mad or jealous? At least it is over now and he is on my lap giving me kisses, but has anyone else had a similar experience???

| Actually no Buddy never does. When I get upset with him he get's upset for me! LOL and comes jumping on me trying to kiss me and ask for forgiveness. Strange but he's always been like that. Never frets at all. He's not often bad or needs scolding anymore but when he does that's what he does. |

| Murfee gets angry with me if I pay too much attention to somebody or something else. He will turn his head away when I talk to him and pouts like crazy.

| Tootsie also pouts if things don't go her way. If we are sitting on the couch together, she will move right down to the end and turn her head the other way. She is really funny to watch. Teddy on the other hand doesn't even know what it means to pout or get mad, he is very even tempered. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Cooper gets mad at us when we laugh "at" him. The other night I was laying on the living room floor, and something came over me and I put my hair clip around his leg, it wasn't tight at all, in fact he could move it around, but he DID NOT like it, and started furiously shaking his leg, just the one. It looked like a weird dance. Through laughter, I reached over and unclipped it, and he backed up and barked at me until it turned in to a howl. I was crying by then, so I did it over and over, until husband thought neither one of us were funny anymore ..... Baxter gets mad at me when he feels it is time for a treat, and I say no. He comes up to me and barks while turning in a circle--this is his crazy treat dance--no one taught it to him...when I say no he just barks louder. When I say "That's Enough!" or "Hush, before I BEAT you!" (I never beat him, it just makes me feel better to threaten him LMAO), he backs away, gives one more short bark, then a cry...and gives up. And people say Dogs dont have personalities or feelings! |

| The girls are put in their room when i leave for work at 1:30 and Jim lets them out usu about 5:30. When I get home I have to sit on the edge of the bed so they both can kiss me hello. If I don't Gypsy will just keep barking until I do. If I quit early from it, usu to head to the bathroom Gypsy will stand in front of me giving the what for.

| I think it is more jealousy than anger, but Hot Rod goes the other way when he sees me holding or playing with Maggie.

| None of my dogs get mad at me...but our Paris #1 gets very frustrated with her servant (DH). If he doesn't fetch treats or food or get her toys and bring them to her or just generally entertain her...she barks at him, stomps her feet and gives him the "stank" eye!! And sooner or later, he gives in and fetches the toys, treats and plays with her.

No Longer a Member | Barks at me daily. My little Chloe barks at me daily. I always think, if she could talk, she would be calling me every name in the book. She looks at me and barks and barks. When I get online at night, that's when she really starts it. If I get up out of the chair she will stop barking at me. If I sit back down, then she does it again. She wants constant attention. Spoiled Baby!!!! |

| i feel better! I've only had my yorkie baby Mahina for 4 days now but she is spoiled! I thought she didn't like me or something because she would bark at me! She can never make up her mind whether to be on the bed with me with her toys or on the floor with her toys. She can't jump off and on as it's way to high for her little body. So if I'm on the bed and she's on the floor she'll bark at me! I'll go get her and she runs away. She's so moody sometimes. She's so spoiled already, I don't even know what to do. Finding this thread made me feel better and now I know it's somewhat normal yorkie behavior. |
