Hubby and I decided to take a trip to our nearest Pets at Home store today to go get some Princess Pixie Pooh essentials..

On the way there Pixie was sick in my lap..luckily I had the sense to take a pack of hand wipes with me..so I managed to mop myself up as best as I could (I then have a lovely big wet patch on my top and trousers

)...We get to Pets at home and had been in there all of 5 minutes when my hubby says: 'UH OH!!' and there is Pixie Pooh getting ready to squat for a poop right in the middle of the aisle!

I scoop her up with my hand under her bottom (ready to catch her poop!) and rush for the door..we get to the car and I put her down on the floor and inspect her botty only to find her poo poo is now stuck in her long hair!!

I grab the life saving wipes from the car and mop her up as best as I can..we managed to get back in the store eventually to continue our shopping! I don't know..the things we have to do sometimes!!

: I can sympathize! I don't think I dealt with as much poop with my real kids! My hubby is always grateful that I will take care of the poop issues.

Thats why i have to shave them down after that first time it was just too gross for me

I would have just her do it in the floor then picked it up with something. If it's a pet store they should have pet stations where they keep wipes and trash. Maybe invest in a pet seat to strap her into in the back seat.

It's much safer and keeps the moms safe from that kind of thing.

Yes thank goodness for wipes, but I"m with Yorkiedaze, I would've just let her do her business and pick it up afterwards.

My Prissie always decides to go poop whenever I take her to Petco, PetSmart or Wiggles & Wags, she just gets so excited. When we were at the Houston Dog Show her and Miko both decided to go poop right in the vendor area!!

Hahaha, Peanut used to poop everytime I took him anywhere! If we were in petsmart, I just let him do his business and cleaned it up afterward

Those wipes sure came in handy today!

My girl Phoebe lift her leg and mark, at the vet and pets store and of course any place other dogs had done it

she never do it in the house thank God. Those wipes really help he,he

yep..in hindsight i should have just let her do right there on the floor! but in my surprise i just scooped her up and ran for the door!

I remember one time that Phoebe just did a #2 in a small pet store, she stonk the hole place, thank God that hubby was there he clean it up and I was so embarrass that I left and wait for him in the car

LOL! thats like putting your hand up to catch when your babies gonna spit up. Love it. I myself have grabbed poo when it won't seem to come all the way out (usually after eating a kleenex)!!!! I'm so glad I'm not the only crazy poop grabbing person in the world. Sorry she vomitted on you. Gotta love those wipes!

It really doesn't bother ME...I Was more concerned about other people smelling her! I Would pick up her poo with my bare hands if i had to..she's like my baby so i really don't mind..but if it was someone elses dog...noooooooo! funny isn't it?
