Wormer Help Is anyone familiar with WORM PROTECTOR 2X? It says 1 tsp or 5 ml for every 10 lbs. One of my pups weighs just over a pound, one 2 lbs, one 3 1/2 lbs, & one 5 lbs. What in the world am I supposed to do with the 1 pounder, stick my finger in it & let it lick it. My syringe is in cc's. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Oh I have posted an album of mama, daddy, & 3 of the babies. Go take a look. It's called Isabella's Babies.

cc / mg / ml = same/same. Confusing, isn't it?

Yeah it is but how much do I give my little ones? The 5 pounder I would give 2 1/2 cc but the rest is a mystery.

| Can you get some from your vet and have them tell you the dose?

CC's are in units of 10 5 ml (cc) per 10 pounds is the desired dose (or 0.5 ml (cc) per pound) 0.5 cc for the 1 pounder 1.0 cc for the 2 pounder 2.0 cc for the 3.5 pounder (this is a little extra, but should be OK with a wormer. O'wise you're looking at 1.75 or 1.8 cc's. Or you could short it to 1.5 cc's) 2.5 cc for the 5 pounder I *think* my math is correct ...
