| Greetings from Kentucky Hi~! I'm new here and found you all somehow searching. I've posted on other forums of issues relating to my Yorkie but this looks like the place for me to be~! I got my Yorkie at 10 weeks old and this past week, he turned 1 year old. He's been a real joy for me in so many ways. This is the first dog I have ever had and I did research on dogs in general before committing myself. He's not much of a barker, unless he sees you walking on the street from the door or fence and then he's a real yapper~! And oh, the mailmail or anyone that comes to the door he's worse. Other than that, he's really quiet and I hardly know that he's around. The only problem I have dealt with really was his eating habits. Does anyone here have/had problems with their Yorkie being a picky eater. I've gone thru numerous of foods and now he's on Royal Cainine. Anyways, lately he's not eating....very much till early evening to late night. Eating isn't a problem, cause he loves those treats~! I use to hid treats and a lot of them in or around his toys before I go away for the day. This way, it seem to occupy his time, but then he would eat. I've cut back on them, but feel awful and then I end up giving them to him tho he hasn't eaten. Any ideas here~? Thanks everyone and hope to meet you all soon. |

| Hello and Welcome to YT! Unfortunately, I can't help with your problem, since all my babies eat well, but I'm sure someone on here will have some great advice.

| Thanks for the Welcome I also forgot to add that my Yorkie will lick you up. Everyone loves him. I tell everyone he's my mid-life crisis, and it's a good one I am told. I don't watch sports, so I have no idea whom was playing what sport today. Kentucky is a big basketball state, so I presume it was basketball. |

| Hi and welcome to YT! Yorkies can be very picky eaters! We have tried several foods with Wrigley and we now feed Innova and mix in carrots and green beans and she finally eats!

| I too have a picky eater. I just switched her to EVO by Innova and she really likes it. In fact, she will come to me so that I will feed her more. She will also eat it all at once instead of nibbling on it. She has never done that before. I have tried several different foods also. Maybe you can try this food. Good Luck and welcome to YT. I am fairly new also.
