| new kitten on the scene My husband and I just got a new kitten about a month ago. I feel really bad for my yorkie. He has gone almost nine years without another pet invading his territory. The new kitten is just trying to play and Im confused as to what to do to help my yorkie. The kitten hides behind the corner waiting to pounce on my 3 pound yorkie. He defends himself and tries to bite the kitten. They are cute, but I cant seem to decide if my yorkie is having fun playing or if he is irritated by this. At night, when they are both worn out from playing/fighting they usually fall asleep on the couch nearby each other. I just feel bad for my yorkie, the kitten has even started sleeping in my yorkies bed!! Am I worrying for nothing? I'm just an over protective mother! |

| I bet you within a week, they will be best buddies. I have had to do this a couple of times. Make sure you give your doggie lots of attention, and they will probably be sleeping and playing with each other in no time! Keep us posted! |
