| ![]() Some time ago i was looking for new beds for Ruby and Valentino. I wanted ones with a somewhta house shape and found them. The bid for them was $.01 i thought great when I went to buy them they were like $16.75 for shipping which made them at regular price and for that i can go to petsmart or petco and pay full price to get it the same day. I thought this was just nonsense and can't imagine why people would advertise if any one can figure out the catch. Just had to vent. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() I ALWAYS check the shipping costs before I bid! Sometimes it's just not worth it!

| ![]() I have ran into that problem on ebay quite a bit where someone is overcharging on the shipping. I wont bid on something unless they list the shipping price.

| ![]() I am an eBay addict. You have to always check for shipping!!! I once had a local seller tell me that that's where she gets her money. I had asked to pick up the item from her since she lived about 10 min. away. She agreed but wasn't happy about it. I have had other locals deny pick up, but I guess they got to make a living too. ![]()

| ![]() That makes me Soo mad too. I found this software on there once and everyone else had it listerd for like $6 and another guy had it listed for like $2, except his shipping was like $34!!! For a CD (not in the software box) i emailed hime and told him he was insane, he said he had to make up for his costs And he couldn't sell a $40 software for $2, so he had to make up for it. I was like then why don't you charge more for it. He's like cuz most people don't check the shipping prices! I was like, well there are 15 other sellers that are selling for a $15 total, with shipping, he was like, then go buy from them!

| ![]() Got to LOVE eBay!! There are those on there that make a killing because they overcharge so much on shipping and unfortunately some don't catch it until after they won and it's time to pay for the item. I ALWAYS look at the shipping and figure it in whenever I decide how much I am willing to bid and ultimately pay for the item. If the shipping is too high I don't bid.

| ![]() One reason ebay sellers list low and charge high S&H is because they are not charged fees by Ebay for S&H, but only for the final bid amount. This way they get their money and have to pay a very minimal fee to Ebay. A lot of sellers started doing that when Ebay upped their fees. Always check the S&H before bidding and if it isn't listed, message the seller to ask. |

| ![]() You always have to check on shipping cost. If it is not listed, I will contact the seller before bidding. |
