Donating YT 500 Club Member | Measuring your yorkie's length My wiggly worm won't sit still and honestly I'm not good at using these tape measures. I 'think' he's about 15 inches long. Is that about right? He is about 9-10lbs, his chest is over 12" more like 14". I ordered some clothing and am really wondering now how off I am with his sizing.

| Hopefully, you are using a cloth or sewing measuring tape. Then make him stand up and measure the topline from the base of his neck to the start of his tail. Don't have him sit because it will change the topline measurement. You measure his chest size directly behind his legs. If you don't have a cloth measuring tape then you can use string or yarn to measure and cut it at the topline length and then measure it with a ruler. Hope this helps!! Happy measuring!
