| False pregnancy? I have a question..If a dog has a false pregnancy how long does this last. My sisters not sure if her dog is pregnant or not. She was with my male but I did not see them tie. |

| private breed my gizmo wont do more than sweet talk while im in the room im thinking about a cam set up but ... seems extreem any other with this issue |

| I am not sure if this is what you mean, but, my aunts pomeranian had a false pregnancy and it lasted quite a while. She had never even been around a male. She just started acting strangely one day. She was scratching in corners, hiding under the bed, crying. Also, she had milk in her nipples. So my aunt took her to the vet, thinking she was sick and the vet said it was a false pregnancy and when she was scratching in corners, she was actually 'looking for her puppies!' It was all very very very sad. Now, she is back to normal.

| sometimes a false pregnacy can last two weeks to the entire 9 weeks (actual gestation time) I recently went through one that was 9 weeks long. The teats swelled and colostrum was evident, temp went down and poof it all went away!!!

| This is another reason to have a female spayed if you are not a breeder. They can also get pyometria post estrus...Poor babies want to be moms.. |
