| I'm having the same problem with my little one. She hates a harness, collar (which is only on with supervision) and any clothes I put on her (and she has so many cute ones, too.) I hope she outgrows this soon. I try to put a t-shirt or a soft comfy dress on her each day for a short time but her dislike for them is not improving. Does anyone have any ideas how to overcome this? |

| I have put Millies harness on her about 15 minutes at a time, about 4 times today. The very first time she tried biting it. Now she just doesnt seem like herself in it. Standing in the one place. As soon as it comes off, she runs and jumps to play. Think its just a matter of slowly getting her used to it. |

| My Pixie was afraid of the buckle snapping shut on her Puppia harness..she hated the noise it made and would leap about and scream! She did get used to it eventually and now she just jumps a little when I snap the buckle shut

| Jewels was afraid of hers when she was a pup also. I just put it on her several times a day and let her wear it around the house. Eventually she got used to iti

| Before putting the harness on let her sniff it and give her a treat. Try this a few times w/o attaching a leash. She will hopefully begin to associate the harness with something pleasant and rewarding. Once you have the harness on her for about 20 seconds give her another treat and then take it off. You may have to do this for a short time. If she will not walk with it and the leash on try sitting in front of her a few feet away holding out a treat and she will/should walk to you....praise and treat again. If she begins to shaking or sits down at any time try not to sort of comfort her with words or petting her it may only reinforce her fear of it. |
