| Oh man glad she is all better now. I have always used a whole tube even when I had my 2.5 lb chihuahua. I guess she was allergic to it. I have since changed to Revolution to get the flea/ worms under control with just one medication. They seem to be good with this one too I use a whole tube of the puppy one and no problems. My chihuahua scratches a bit when I put it on but that's it no skin irritation or anything... Smiles Myra |

| I use Frontline Plus on 7 dogs and puppies and have NO problems. In a discussion before I posted that I contacted the manufacturer about the changes in the weight recommendations. It used to say FL PLUS for 11 pounds and over. The packaging is different now and they told me that was because the FL PLUS is marketed for dog of any weight who is over 12 weeks of age. I use the FrontLine product because we have concerns with ticks...many of them. However, I NEVER use a full tube on each dog. I use a half on each or if they are really tiny, I use 1/3 tube.. It still is effective IMO and in my experience..Let us know what your vet says. Does sound like an allergic response.. |

| I had it happen with Advantage on my 7 lb malt, tried advantage 1 time and it caused a flaming red rash..I would go ahead and try and shampoo some of it off. I have been using frontline on Bentley(7lbs) and Mia(5 lbs) with no problem..but I split the dose between the 2 of them. I figure if the dose is enough for up to 22 pounds my two combined dnn't come close. I have had no problems with split dosage and have had no fleas or ticks. Always remeber to wait several days after a bath before you apply any of the flea products. Hope everything is ok..you might want to call your vet.
