Don't know if this is allowed but I have a friend that has been fostering a yorkie from a mill rescue and she needs our help.. The courts decided today that the owner will get half of the pups back that is 60 pups is this crazy or what.. I am posting the news from todays court hearings what can we do to help???? We need to help these pups they can not go back to this lady..
Please help spread the word..I have posted this in the rescue forum but thought more would see it here.. We really need to get this mill shut down for good and I know how Yorkie pawrents to move heaven and earth for these babies.
I have been to this lady's website where she sells her pups(Yorkies,Maltese and Poms) all the bodies have been altered you can tell they were photoshopped.. I do have the website but I did not think it to be good to post it here but if you pm me I will give you the website. I do not want to post the pics of the all the pups that were seize in April becuase of the graphic nature. Lets just say that two of the 120 pups died and many were sick, ulcerated bottoms, feet etc.. I think you get the picture.

This saddens me. These people should have no rights at all. I'm glad I am not in your friend's position. I know it's under handed but I'd tell them that the pup/s died. Too bad she can't find a vet with a big heart who would write up phony death certificates stating the litter had parvo and it was untreatable and that they all passed away. Sometimes you have to fight dirty in a world like ours. Elaine.

My friend is trying to find out how to start a petition.. I will let you know as soon as I know anything or I will have her join Yorkie Talk and she can add to this thread also..
We are all always talking about shutting down the mills this one was shut down just to be allowed to start back up again because of a bill/law that was passed in 1977.. This is pure sickness.. These pups do not deserve this now that they know what love,caring,and being part of a family is all about.. They do not want to be a breeding machine.. Sorry I need to stop getting on my soap box about this.
I wiill keep you updated as I get the updates in..

Are they spayed and neutered? Can they atleast spay and neuter them that way they can't be bred?

no none are spay or neutered.. This is her income and by the sounds they are not going to make her spay her 60 she gets back.. she will get back the healthy ones.. UGH being in a cage is not healthy.. I sure wish they would spay them all but who knows at this point. Still what is she going to do with spay pups? She can't sell them or breed them so she will get more and the cycle starts all over again. They need to band her from every owning another pet.. Not just in the county but in the whole state or United STates would be wonderfull.. There should be a list, but you all know how they would get around that. .put the pups in someone elses name..They all have back doors.. And that is what is sad..

Information about this woman was on a biewer forum....after the other dogs were taken...she was contacting biewer breeders trying to buy more dogs.

I'm crossposting your news link there...they had a big campaign against her. Even providing info to the rescue groups and state agencies.

Hi, it's me Holly. I am the friend MyBabe4me is trying to help. All of the foster families are heartbroken at the ruling the judge handed down today. But we will fight this with everything we got. Right now there is no way to sign a petition on the rescue organization site. I have emailed them to see if we can set one up. But we have ten days to fight this and time is ticking away as we speak. If you would please, go to the website (I will post the link) and contact them with an email. There is a space for comments. Please express your opinions on this crisis and urge the officials to do the right thing. One is to insure that criminal charges are filed and this woman not be allowed to have another animal of any kind for the rest of life. That even though today's ruling did follow the law, that it is unjust to use it in this case and any future rescues when animal lives are at stake. I thank you from the bottom of this breaking heart for your prayers and efforts to help us. We have an incredible tool in the internet, let us take the time and use it. There is also a link on the rescue site to the State Attorney's Office. Ask them why charges have not be file. This is a matter of life or death.

Hi all! This is Holly, the friend that MyBabe4me is trying to help. Today the Suncoast Animal League suffered a terrible blow. Due to a ancient 1977 law on Pinellas County books, they said the rescue organization had no right to enter and rescue the 121 dogs inside. The ruling also stated that Ms Hughes was to receive 60 of the healthest dogs back in 10 days. We, the foster families are to say the least devastated. No words can explain how we feel right now. We are determined to fight this with everything we have. Right now there is no where on the Suncoast Animal League site to sign a petition. We have 10 days and the clock is ticking. If you can go to the website ( I will post the link) you can email your opinion to them. We are not asking for donations. We need you voice your opinion and objection to this terrible miscarriage of justice. We have a very powerful tool at our fingers tips and the foster families would be so grateful for your time and posting. On the site there is a place to contact them. Well....I don't have a problem posting her web site. You are right, and it is so obvious that the images have been altered. Why, they all have the very same bow in their hair, a lot of them have the same mouth. These images are so overworked it is unbelievable to me that she would post them like that.

I found this website also and I was wondering if this was her. I was looking for a yorkie and if I had came across her site I would have hit the red X. None of her dogs even look real. Nasty woman!!
