| Teen Tantrums?? our furby girl is now 8 month old, apart from the usual stuff you d expect from a pup she has been very well behaved, good when we leave her and is in a routine when we work. but just this week she has decided to start biting the furniture, now i have caught her chewing a hoe in the sofa, she peed under the bed 2 nights ago "out of the blue " again i guess because she could !!. nothing has changed in cercumstances she gets lots of attention and goes everywhere poss with us, is it just another phase ?? a rebelious one ?? She has been barking outsid alot lately after discovering the existance of cats so iv e had to be firm about that , do u think its defiace ?? sorry to go on just want to know if its normal hankyou everyone for poss iput !! |

| If the girls are still intact at 8 months there are going to be hormonal changes and they will start to mark territory. The marking is their way of advertising their coming availability. The chewing may be caused by left over baby teeth that haven't come out yet or by separation anxiety. |

| She's only 8 months old? She's still a puppy!! Even if you have been training her, she's still very young. Just keep at her w/ it but don't have your expectations too high. She's nowhere near her "teen" years.

| will it be about eighteen months before we can call her an adult ?? it just seemed apart from alot of barking she was a lovely dog, (well still is ) but she s just been looking for naughtiness in the last two weeks, chewing and digging things up she previously ignored !! |

| Sammy still does crazy puppy things like stealing and chewing on things, not furniture but things like paper towels, which Loki had totally grown out of by her age (2). It's getting less and less and she's settling down, but it took a while. No peeing on the bed or in any weird places over here though.
