| Puppy Being Alone. Question? I posted on here about my 14 week old sweetie being boarded for the weekend. I found out they are having an open house/adoption day held there on Saturday. I dont want tons of people back there touching Triss through her cage. Also, on Sunday, a person is only there for 3 hours total throughout the day. Im too uncomfortable with that. My mother in law said she would still take Triss for the weekend since her work hours got cut shorter to 8 hours instead of 12. She works 530am-130pm on saturday and sunday. She will take her out to potty at 530. Triss will then probably sleep till 8-9 like she always does. My question: Should I have my MIL put Triss in her crate while shes at work or in the ex pen? I understand she will have an accident in the pen, but what do you think is better for her while she is alone? (I guess Im nervous since I havent left her alone that long before. I just worry she will cry and whine while alone, and that makes me sad.) Edit: Oh yeah, our other dog spike will be there too. But outside of the pen. I hope that is some comfort for her.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Some people put a bed or crate inside the pen, and put lots of pee pads down. I wouldn't worry about accidents. I feel like the pen is a better place, than a crate for long periods.
