| Grooming? I called and talked to the people at a groomer to get my puppies face, feet, and private areas trimmed for the first time. It seemed pretty reasonable it is a puppy package: face, feet, and girly area +bath, blow dry, ears cleaned, nails cut, and bow or bandana for $14.00. The only thing is when I asked how long it would take they said 2-3 hours?!?! That just doesn't seem right? I had wanted to stay because you can watch through a window at them grooming her but 2-3 hours is a little much! How long does this normally take it isn't even full body? |

| It doesnt take that long for a groom but they want them there so they can groom them at their convenience. When Ours are groomed we drop them off at 9 in the morning an pick them up at 4 so 2-3 hrs doesnt sound that bad to me. You could ask he if she has any idea about when she would be doing the groom because you want to watch. I think that it is good to watch the first one

| 2-3 hours sound ok to me. They won't work on your pup for that long but it is hard to really know how long you will spend on each dog until you actually start working with him depending on coat condition, the dog temper etc... So they book extra time for each dogs. And $14 is great! In Toronto they charge 30-40 for the same service!. And we pay $50-70 for full haircut ( on yorkies.. for big dog $$) Hope they will do a good job on your little one ... |

| Wow, $14 sounds great to me, I pay $30-40 for just sanitary trim which includes everything you mentioned minus the bow/bandana. 2-3 hours is about the average time we have experienced also. Plus being your pups 1st time they might be wanting to work on her in small sessions to get her used to it. |
