| They're people too! Right? So, I haven't really told anyone yet, outside of my family, that I finally found my yorkie baby (well...i guess I told YOU guys), but I mean I haven't told people I can SEE! I was too afraid that something would go wrong and it would be sooo disappointing and then people would ask about it...blah, blah, blah...just the way I am... Anyway, my friend sits in the same open studio with me and 3 other people and we can see each other from our desks, but we usually just message back and forth. So, I sent my friend an email today and told her that we finally made the decision and that I hadn't wanted to tell her until it was a done deal. And I told her all about the beautiful little sweetheart that we found and that she was coming home in August and I went on and on...I mean, I was REALLY excited and bursting at the seams...you know? So, I looked at her and she's practically bouncing in her chair and her hand is clapped over her mouth and she's got tears in her eyes and she's soooo happy and she's just looking at me like, OH MY GOSH! And I was thinking, "Wow! she is REALLY happy for me! I mean, I just didn't expect her to be SOOOOOO HAPPY! This is great!". She's grinning and I'm grinning and its a great moment. And then she looks at her computer again and just busts out laughing...REALLY HARD! She practically fell off her chair! And I'm thinking...what the? And then she sent me a message. She thought I had adopted a REAL baby! She didn't realize that I was talking about a puppy until she opened the photos. Exit...tears of joy. Enter...tears of laughter over her crazy friend who talks about her new puppy like she's a person. Geesh... So, I came back on over here where I can be with my own kind. Ha! ha! |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Awe, that is such a cute story, but you will find out with each passing day, you ARE adopting a REAL baby. If she thinks your bad now, just wait.

| Yorkie pups are definately like real babies! And I think we all will definately look crazy at some point to people who don't understand You wake up at 4am and stand outside in the cold dewey grass in your pajamas talking in a high pitched voice, you try EVERYTHING to get them to eat ANYTHING including pretending to eat the food too or handfeeding, brushing them is like grooming a baby shark, and when you've been up since 5am and you are soooo tired, sometimes you just let them run off with your underwear.
