My suggestion would be to do a search, research her posts (she is a member here, although not an active one anymore) and draw your own conclusion. Not to beat around the bush, but there have been some disagreements between she and other members here, which has resulted in some heated debates and hurt feelings. If you are truly here to find out information regarding her, best of luck and I hope you get the answers you are looking for. However, in the event that you are not already aware (as your defensive tone right of the bat might suggest), recent discussions regarding her have more often than not been started by or fueled by outsiders trying to cause contoversy between members, which makes your posts and the nature of them suspicious automatically,--no fault of your own and hopefully that is not your intent. Good luck...I'm sure you'll get the results you are looking for. Last edited by BamaFan121s; 06-18-2008 at 07:19 AM.

no harm done To everyone who is sending me post, Like I said im not hear to bash anyone at all. I just got an older yorkie from her on Friday. She as a breeder, never did any paper work with me on a contact. I sat in her home for like 30 min and visit the dog she was placing with me. The dog is very sick with bad teeth and I think she is older then she told me. I tried to contact her back several times and she dont reply asking for the dog birth age. I now have this poor sick dog at my vets getting blood work and not done to her. She wanted her spayed and her teeth done which we both verbally talked about. I had no problems with that. But I just wanted to know the correct age of the dog for the vet to know and shot history she had no clue. I was just looking for other people who might know her. I might be out of some money that I hadto pay for the dog if the dog dies, that was my only concern if anyone else has had problems with her good or bad that I need to know what I can do. Thanks for all the replies , Like I said im not on her to start a rumble or cause andyone hard feeling, just need to know about this breeders history.

It was an older Yorkie? I'm guessing maybe retired stock? Could you share which dog it was (by name)? There are some members here who have dogs from her and some who are more knowledgeable regarding her breeding program and who have worked with her in the past. Perhaps they know enough about the dog to know it's age and get you by until you can get in touch with her.

Older yorkie her name is Mia she told me she was 5 years old , she told me she tried to breed her but she had to give her a c section and the puppy died. She said she was with another family for 8 month and they didnt do her teeth or spay her as promised so she got the dog back. My vet said it took more then 8 month for her to get bad teeth like this and to get sick this way. She is in bad condition and the vet said she can die from this. I might not even be able to spay her or put her under to do her teeth cause she is so ill. I just wanted to know the correct age of the dog. So my vet knows. I told him 5 what she told me but he thinks she is much older. im so sad I just wanted a nice lap dog and I reliesed when I bought her I had to get her teeth don and spay her I had no problems with that, its just now this dog is very ill form her teeth and health being so poor she might die and then im outof a yorkie again. Im just sad for the little doggie, I just needed some answer on her age. she told me before i left her home she would look up her age and let me know since friday I send 3 emails and no returns back.my vet needed to know the correct age of the dog.

Also And also she was just in a local news paper about her home and not obaying the township laws and now I have seen bad stuff about her and good stuff too and the condition of the dog has me worried. She is at the vet since monday. They have her on antibiotics and fuilds. There doing blood test today to make sure she dont have kidney failure. Until then I cant get her spayed or her teeth removed cause putting her under puts her at risk of dieing for the surgrey. Im only trying to do the best to help thsi dog. But the vet would like to know more about her age, shots and things like that. As a breeder you should have all that information when you adopt a dog out, if she is a great as some people have posted. Some reason she is avoiding me, which make her look bad to me and seeing what I have so far scares me more. I will have a high vet bill but I do it out of love for this poor yorkie, Mia didnt deserve this, she never asked to be mistreated. and now it might be to late to save her life. Im just concerned.

But that is beside the point. Mia's full reg name is Cavendish's Hermia of Sylvan. My suggestion would be to contact AKC and see if you can get a pedigree for the dog. (I think they are $10) or at the very least, see if they can provide you w/ her birthdate. Ideally you could contact the vet who has provided the dog's care in the past or the previous owners who had her for a while--if they did in fact have the dog for a while, perhaps they deserve partial credit for her current state. | |

Speaking with a vet is a good idea, however, unless someone has authorized a release of information...they will not give you any information.
