| Sophie eats grass. i have heard it said that dogs often eat grass when they have an upset stomach. so the first time she did it, i figured that was the case. once i caught her in the act, i picked her up and told her no. She then threw up, and the grass was still in her vomit. everytime i take her out with me, or i let her out to potty, she immediately finds a different kind of grass and feels it necessary to try it? i'm worried she will get into something harmful, and while she is usually very good as listening to me when i fuss, she seems to ignore me and continue eating the grass. i know it can't possibly taste good, and for her tummy to be upset that much is absurd. i just don't know??

| Fritzel loves to eat grass. He never throws it up. I swear he has a rock gut though! He can eat just about anything. I give him green beans(no salt) a lot. Sometimes i give him peas. I just think they are missing something in their diet or they just love to eat greens. Try the green beans and see if she eats less grass.

| I have a grass eater as well.... I think she picked up the habit from her border colie friends. Its never been a problem, but if she does it too much I'll tell her "NO!". I just worry about a blockage from too much grass. She will dive into the grass for a bite mid-run and practically to a double front flip..its hilarious.

| Mac also eats grass and will pick up ANYTHING he can get his mouth on - flowers, twigs, pebbles, even birdpoops... I really have to keep an eye on him every second we're outside. He has only thrown up once in the 5 weeks I've had him. But at least he doesn't eat doggypoops! He'll sniff them, but that's all.

| Mine eats grass too. And all sorts of leaves and flowers and branches. Whatever she can get outside. Depending on what it is, I stop her from doing it. But I never had an issue with throwing up though.

| sophie has thrown up the grass twice, and both times i notced that the grass is still whole, so i would assume that's the problem. and since everyone has mentioned it, i do notice sophie going for flowers, leaves and even dead leaves. i will try green beans, maybe i can trick her. but then she might want grass even more!

| All four of mine eat grass. But they seem to go just for a certain type of grass. I don't get to upset about it, just don't allow them to do it very long. Herd them all back in as soon as business is done.
