| Mill? I'm posting this here because Millbusters is down and I don't want to forget! What do you think? Anyone near Vail, IA? http://k-dkennels.com/ also, here are their puppies on puppyfind: http://www.puppyfind.com/l/?acct_id=...f9f9120a118af4 52!

| I need to clarify something that has been on my mind. If someone runs a kennel to usda standards they can not legally be a puppy mill right? I am not advocating for a kennel as I do not agree with any puppy or dog being housed anywhere other than inside a home with only the few dogs the owner can take care of in the home. But legally, I am wondering if you can do anything to a person like the ones who own this site. I have read the usda standards, they don't require all that much. |

| I'm not sure. I love how they call it an 'industry'. I can't believe how many breeds they have.

| "The puppies are whelped in special heated and airconditioned whelping buildings in large pens with shredded paper as bedding. The puppies are cared for two to three times daily. We do whatever is necessary to make sure that the puppy you purchase from us is healthy and well socialized. We have an exceptional working relationship with a veterinary who comes to our kennel 2-3 times a month to check on the puppies and their parents. He provides the vet checks and health certificates for the puppies before shipping or delivery. We are a USDA and State licensed facility."

| Some of these mixes I truly do not understand. They have bichon and poodle mixes! What is that about? That would just make a larger sized poodle right? Makes no sense. They have cavachons. Cavalier and bichon mixes?? Why would they mix those two breeds?? I hate to see dogs raised like cows, unfortunately it seems to be very legal. |

| Well, considering that they have a breed representative of almost letter in the alphabet, it is a good guess they are millers. I just looked at names of breeds and saw the NUMBER of pages and said IF IT WALKS LIKE A DUCK AND QUACKS LIKE A DUCK, IT GOTTA BE A DUCK!! Or in this case a puppy mill.. |

| Well, the minimum you can say for them is that the puppies appear to be clean and healthy. On the other hand, maybe they just cleaned them up for the photographs. I wonder how they smell? It maybe a good thing we can't smell them from our side of the computers. |
