| ![]() Ever since I got Lucky, he's had this bald spot on his head. It's directly in the middle. It's not exactly bald but he has a little bit of hair there compared to the rest of his body. I'm thinking his head seems bald.. more because his hair is a little grayish/whitish in that area. Is this normal? Does anyone else here have a Yorkie that has/had this problem? I'm thinking he'll grow more hair soon since he's only around 4 months old.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ![]() Lots of yorkies who's hair will be light will develop a spot that LOOKS bald - do you see hair with white roots ? Cheri did this and I thought she was losing her hair when it was actually just changing color....She was exactly 4 months in this pic - you can see the white - |

| ![]() Oh wow, and all this time I thought he was a natural born baldie. Yes, he has white roots there. Haha! My mom and grandmother kept calling him baldie for the past few weeks so it got to me. I feel much better now. I even gelled up his hair to cover it up once. :zip: He looks pretty good with his hair slicked back.. ![]()

| ![]() I am so glad to see your post and pictures, your little guy's head looks exactly like my Jasmine's head. I too thought she was going bald. I massage that spot all the time in hopes of activating her hair follicles. It is a relief to know that she is not going bald. Thanks to everyone for the assurance. |

| ![]() Oh my gosh....this cracks me up becuase I thought the EXACT SAME THING when I got Bella. I was so so worried, I kept on wanting to take her to the vet to see if she was balding! But no, she wasnt, she was just turning silver. Lucky will probably be the same colors as Bella.

| ![]() thanks for the posting also, I have my Bambi who is the same age and is showing the same spot. I have been wondering that same thing also. I have also been wondering if this was the age when she would start to change her colors some? |

| ![]() Ya'all are so funny. Mr. Big has very thin hair on his head but I was told that it means he's going to be a silk coat. Actually he's kind of sparse and scraggly all over his little body. I just hope he's a long coat and not a short coat like Pirogue. LOL |
