today i took toby on a walk down to teh creek and he would STOP and POINT at EVERYTHING........ any sound he heard (even ladies off in the distance talking) he would stop and point...... it took FOREVER to get anywhere, i know they were ratters but i thought they just ran after them, not POINTED at them

That's funny! This might be a stupid question but was he pointing with his snout or his paw? If he's pointing with his paw, that is hilarious.

when a dog points they stand on three legs, and leave the fourth front paw off the ground....... and they look in the direction of the thing tey are pointing at ....... like this..... its teh far picture on teh right

lol........ not if i had an appointment that i had to keep........hmmmm......... now that i think about it, he was probably trying to make the walk last longer

That's great! I have a friend who has hunting dogs. He wants one of my babies, he would love a pointing yorkie.
