| travel bag (sherpa) questions: important! First of all, what size does everyone have for their babies? the xs (8lbs) or the Medium (16 lbs)? And does the Medium size still work on the planes? What airline is the best about traveling with your baby? and finally, which carrier should i get, 1 or 2?

| Hey, I have the Black with Pink outline and I have the x-small one cause Abby is only 3 pounds. Now, if you want ur baby to have extra room get the bigger one. This past Christmas Holiday i went to the Dominican Republic and it is only a 3 hr flight from Nyc so it wasnt that bad for her. I flew Delta and they were nice. She was sedated a bit with Benadryl so I was able to sneak her out of the bag and put her under the covers to be with me... She didnt make a peep. Just remember ur pup has to be able to fully stand up, turnaround and be comfortable and be able to fit under the seat in front of you. Hope that helps. ~~Rebecca~~

| I bought the #1 for SNoodles! Sorry to say, I never used it! She had a complete fit in it. However, she was terrible in the car, to get combed, etc. So you can't go by me. I don't think Missy will fit in it, as she is going to be about 10#. Pat |

| I have the jazzy soho backpack bag from Sherpa... it holds my 2 babies (little tight but not horrible) and they are 9lbs and 5lbs. Its airline approved and I did fly with them in Dec from NH to NM. I think it only comes in one size. Sherpa Jazzy SoHo Pet Backpack - FREE SHIPPING ON EVERYTHING WE SELL! I love it!!

| I paid $160 to take mine on NorthWest one way. When I realized how noone noticed or cared I decided to not say anything on the flight home and noone noticed, so I did not pay for the flight home, and I probably wouldnt pay for another flight for them in advance again and if I get caught I'll just pay for it at the counter.

| It normally ranges from $120-$160 round trip. I had Riley shipped to me on Continental and I was very pleased with them. When I fly with him in the cabin, I'll probably fly American or United Airlines. |

| I just paid $180 round trip for Lucy on United. I usually fly Delta which is the same round trip. I have the larger one for Lucy before I bought her Juicy carrier and it was fine for the airlines Happy Travels!

| I was just looking on the United website and it says "For travel on/after May 5, 2008, the fee will be USD $100.00." This is the one way price. So United pet fees are going up. I wonder if the other airline fees are going up as well?? Thats going to suck. |

That is a lot of money to put a dog under the seat in a carrier. Give us a break! Pat | |

| I've read that alot of the time, the security/airline doesn't check for the pet ticket. Hmmm... I wonder if I could sneak Riley on board. |

Oh I swear there are no financial breaks anywhere anymore!! haha yeah it was ridiculous. After I agonized for months over this, I took 2 dogs in 1 bag (which was against policy) paid for them and didn't get health certs, just had their rabies vacs paperwork. Noone said a THING! So on the way home, I didnt do anything, didn't pay for them, didn't tell them they were on the flight, and the flight attendant let me take them out of the bag the WHOLE flight and lay on my lap! It was great! Although I did fly from one small airport to another small airport, I don't know if that made a difference or not. Oh yeah and I asked for a pet ticket and they told me they didnt do that, there was no pet ticket! Go figure! good Luck! For me it all worked out fine!
