| I'm sure everything will work out okay! I brought Tessa home when she was 10wks and my BorderCollieXLab is 11yrs. She wasn't too impressed with having a puppy in the house but after about 2 weeks, they were playing together like they had always been together. It was just what Misty needed to make her feel young again. She now runs around and plays with Tessa all the time now but if she feels like Tessa is bugging her, she will "correct" Tessa and Tessa then knows to leave her alone for awhile. Give it some time and they will be fine.

| My prediction is that they will need a tiny bit of an adjustment period and then they will be best friends and you will wonder if your Jack Russel even remembers what it was like before your Yorkie arrived. My brother has a Jack Russel and I have taken my lil guy over for visits. My pup loves Jesse but it takes Jesse a while to get used to the pup each time....different tempraments for sure. They will balance each other out, you'll see.

YT 2000 Club Member | Just wanted to say Welcome to YT!! I think with no time at all your Jack Russell will get use to the new puppy and they will be best of friends! I know it's a bit different but I take my guy Jeter over to my moms house to play with her 2 Yorkie girls. Her Sindee wanted nothing to do with Jeter at all the first few visits but now she chaises him about and they play so cute together!

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | It will take a while for your JRT to get used to having a sibling but in the end as long as you show her she is still very special it will be fine. Definitley takes a bit of time. It will work out.
