| Going Crazy Waiting! thoughts/help? I've waited for my girl for an extra two months since I found her! I'm seriously going crazy now that I'm so close to getting her!!!! I'm even having trouble sleeping! 1 More Week! I leave the house at 9:30am Saturday to go drive and pick her up! Chelle (The breeder) has been super awesome about sending me updated pictures and answering all of my hundred million questions. So here's a question: how did everyone else deal with the waiting game. I started by buying things for her, but I've gone a little crazy, and I need to slow that down! Any other ideas/thoughts?

| Well, I was unpacking from an overseas move when I got our Yorkie, so it was a little easier. Whenever I got too anxious, I would always go and unpack a box. Do you have a hobby or anything you could sidetrack yourself with? If all else fails, you could always think of all of the poo you'll soon be cleaning up. Ok, that was in poor taste -- but I do wish you the best of luck this week! Congratulations on your new furbaby!

| Luckily I only had to wait a week to pick up my babies and that was self imposed! I found them about a week before I could take them, they were ready to go... but I was also in the middle of the move, so preparing a WHOLE house by unpacking, tearing down wallpaper and painting all in a couple days so it would be cleaned up and puppy-proofed kept me busy (on top of working full time) from 5am - 12am... then I crashed! Sooooo it was an easier wait for me! Yeah thats it, paint their room! LOL

Senior Yorkie Talker | I had a long wait to but I finaly got my puppy on Tueday monday night I didnt sleep at all. I made sure the house was clean top to bottom, bottom cabinets had locks on them with all the chemicals, everything was picked up off the floor, I vacummed at least three times to make sure, made sure that nothing was under the couch/chair just in case the puppy decided to go under there. Made sure all the electic sockets had a plug in them just in case puppy decided to explore and stick his tongue in there. Wrote down a list of questions that I wanted to ask his vet, such as do they give vaccinations/boosters every year, was the heart worm pills I picked out a good brand. Hung up emergency vet numbers/poison control center number on the fridge. Made sure I had nutrical on hand. ..And started a blog here on yorkietalk

YT 1000 Club Member | I have 57 days to wait til I get to bring Friday home. I have my Yorkie room to finish. Getting the wardrobe up there arranging crates and beds, finding some type of comfy chair for me to sit in that will also fit 4 Yorkies and me in. Hanging pictures, Trying not to think of buying alot of stuff. Sewing all different sizes of dresses. I have already started making hairbows for her topknot. Plus working that outta keep me busy.
