| Pish Pad vs. Poochie Pads I have Pooch pads already.... I like them, they wash nicely, etc. I'm looking at the Pish pads because they adhere to surfaces, and i think it would be great if the pad stayed more securely under the playpen areas....the pooch pads get pulled up, even though i put the edges under the sides of the pen ( I have the 36x36 size) I read a review about Pish that they stick to themselves when washed in a machine and eventually get peely. And that they stink because you can't bleach. On their add it says they are fully machine washable and dryable...and don't retain odor. so I'm hoping someone here has some personal experience with them? Any input will be greatly appreciated. I need to get more pads regardless, but am trying to decide whether to stick with Pooch Pads or change over. Thanks in advance!!! deb |

| I heard the same thing about the pish pads. I have never used them, though. I use the washable pads I make from human incontinence pads. I think they are very similar to the pooch pads. If you want tabs added on that will attach to your ex pen I can make you some with velcro attachments if that will help.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Hi Joeymom, I'm also a mom to a Joey, I don't use Pish pads, but you don't need to bleach the pad to get rid of odors. Bleaching is used more to destroy bacteria, and since urine is relatively sterile there is no need to bleach. Most pads should be washed using regular detergent, and no bleach or fabric softener, which builds up, and makes things less absorbent. When washing the pads, be sure you don't overcrowd your washer, so they get rinsed thoroughly. I imagine the Pish pads are similar to bathroom throw rugs that have a rubberized backing, after awhile they become peely too. I guess it just depends how many times you could wash them before this happens. I have read about a spray-on product that makes things adhere to the floor better. I have read that many people love Little Bits pads.

| i HAVE SOME PISH PADS AND i ABSOLUTELY love THEM. I take them with us when we go on trips and use them in motel rooms. I place a potty pad on top, but they really help to protect the carpet. We always use one in the car as well. I LOVE them! I have washed and dried my numerous times and never have had the stick to each other OR stink. They wash up very nice with no odors. I even used them in the whelping box and inside the x-pen when the puppies were born. No tripping over loose blankies and the puppies could scoot around on them very easy. I have washed mine so many times and the backing is as good as the day I got them

| I have been useing pish pads for a few months. I had to because my oldest dog tore apart the disposables. I love my pish pads, i can go a couple of days before they need to be washed, with two dogs. I use a little ammonia when i was them, that takes out any odor, but i've never had problems with odor. They are expensive if you buy them from the website, but i got mine off ebay, So there much cheaper. I bought two and switch them when they need to be washed. I would highly recommend them! |

I currently, put a rug grabber down (that thing you put under a rug on a hardwood floor to stop it slipping around), then I put down a big washable pee pad, then I put disposable pee pads on top of that. I love the idea that I could take the pish pad when I go visit my kids at college to provide a little extra protection under ZoE's pee pads, as both my kids live in rental property while at college.
