I have been reading today about so many young furbabies taken too soon. My heart is aching for you. My baby is a year and four months old. Have I dodged the liver shunt bullet or the luxating patellas or ???..... the list goes on.

Please tell me your happy stories about your healthy older Yorkies.

Murfee is 4 and (knock on wood) has been very healthy. We haven't had any problems at all. I am very, very saddened by all of these sick babies. Murfee's biggest problem is an itchy bottom when his anal glands get a little stuffy.

There was a thread on here for a furbaby's 16th b-day. I think it was Buddy. That's great. 16 years is a long time.
