| So Nervous, Im sick.... I have to go to Chicago on Wed for 3 days with my oldest daughter to meet with a ton of vendors for her wedding in Oct. I am leaving my 2 babies with hubby while Im gone and Im so nervous about it. I know he loves them and will take good care of them, but Im a freak when it comes to my dogs and i know hes not so much. They are never out of my sight when were in the backyard and when he takes them out, he doesnt watch them quite as closely as I do. I know they will be fine, but I cant help feeling afraid. Im having probs w my stomach because of it now and I need to chill and trust they will be ok. Am I normal or have I crossed the line into utter Yorkie madness???? If you can, please say a quick prayer for them and me too! Thanks for your support...

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I know how you must feel. I may be going to Arizona for just 2 days, I never have left my dogs and with 4 now I can't imagine it. My husband never gets to go on vacations because I don't like to travel and leave the girls. My dtr will be here with them but she is not real good about taking care of anything! I keep telling myself they will all be fine and I will be back soon, but my heart keeps panicing! Go and try and enjoy!!!

| I hate leaving my dogs and I just had to this past week end to go away with my hubby. My son (23 years old) took care of the dogs. i was nervous but I knew he cared for them and would do a good job. I think you need to leave it in God's hands and go have a good time. I have come to the conclusion that as much as I love my babies... and i love them very very much, it is unfair to my family, to never give them that time away when I can because of the dogs. my husband needs my attention, my daughter has needed me at times to come up to college and be there for her. My kids are old enough to help with the dogs and I have to trust them. I came back and although my dogs were extremely happy to see me and my hubby, they were totaly fine and I found my worries were for nothing. My son didn't even let his girlfriend carry the dogs out to potty because he was afraid if she dropped one I would kill him!!!! go with you daughter and have soooo much fun. Your babies will be fine and your hubby will be waiting for big hugs and lots of thanks when you get home.

| Glad I'm not the only one! I can totally relate to your feelings. Today I have to go out of town for 3-4 days and leave my baby at home. I stressed over who I would have dog sit since my husband is going with me. I chose the sweetest most responsible person I could think of. I know she will take care of my MacKenzie. This will be my first time away from her for more than a few hours ... I am freaking out! My mom is also going to come check on her for me. As nervous as I am, I know this will be a good thing. When I get home and see that she is just fine, I will be less nervous the next time I have to leave. Thank goodness for cell phones ... I just wish dogs knew how to use them! |
