| Thunderstorms?? I have a question?? We are going to have some severe weather this evening, possible tornado watches, bad thunderstorms etc.. My question is... how are yorkies in this type of exciting weather??? I have noticed that Odie is really hyper.. more than usual so I am just wondering if anyone has experienced this? Thanks

| Lily had her first thunderstorm on wed. night and she barked for 2 hours it was a hard night. It has been storming her all day so she no longer pays any attention to it.

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | My Yorkies do ok unless it gets REALLY bad. If it does get bad, Tatum, my smallest, will kind of "hunch up" and cry and whimper...but again, this is only if it gets really bad. Peaches, one of my other babies who is NOT a Yorkie...TOTALLY freaks out in bad weather. She is absolutely terrified of it!

| We had storms off and on all day yesterday with high winds and rain pelting the skylights and windows all day long but all of mine did fine. Actually, they acted no different than any other day. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | All 4 of mine do fine. I always try and not react to the storms so they don't pick up on it. We haven't had much thunder since Roxie came home but I hope she just ignores it like the others.

| It does not faze Tricksie but I had a Maltese before and we lived in MN in the summer, the weather there can be so scary, so when storms came we went to the basement, didn't take long before he beat me there. We moved to FL, and when storms came he would start running looking for stairs to go to the basement, of course there are none in FL. so I would just hold him.
