| Well Max is a wonderful dog like I stated before, but He wont stop peeing and pooping in his bed. He was crate trained as a puppy, and with two young kids myself and two other dogs, its hard to keep a constant eye on him 24/7 so he is in bed for quite a bit during the day or whenever i can't be watching him. What should I do to prevent this from happening? He is also very Horney he wont leave my other two female dogs alone, he is constantly humping them.. |

| Welcome!!! I suggest neutering him. That might be a solution towards helping your problem. Also, I don't know if he's lifting his leg, but you might want to try a belly band? Get some pee pads and put them in his bed and he goes on them a few times, put them toward the door that you usually go out of the most. Good luck with getting him housetrained!!!

| Hi and welcome! I have a Maxx too. Is your Max fixed? I have 4 yorkies - 3 of them boys and my boys try to hump each other! lol. My vet said it was a dominance thing, not a sexual thing. Maybe that's it if he's fixed. |

| Hi and welcome to YT! I have a Max too; my first baby! He's 3 now, and I just acquired another male, Madison. Madison isn't neutered yet and he's kind of bad about lifting his leg everywhere (when I'm not looking)....belly bands are a god-send. I am hoping that once he's neutered, it will diminish, or hopefully STOP! But I love him anyway . Yes, post pictures of yours if you can; we love to see Yorkie faces! Here's Max and Madison:

| My first dog, Molly, would pee and poo in her bed and then lay in it!! She looked so depressed from the crate training. The vet said that they would never do that but mine did. I had to stop the crate training and use a ex pen type of situation, where her bed was next to her food and then I put 2 weewee pads down. She eventually did much better and she was alot happier. In her later years, she would go outside and fake squat and then come in and pee on the floor when I wasn't looking! Ugh! They are so tricky and smart.
