Confused Help please, long.

Ok this is gonna be long but i really really need some opinions and suggestions about this so here we go. My uncle last summer had a series of heart atacks and eventually went in like a coma state and had to be brought back to life 2 or 3 times and they had putt out the all call and all of us went to Texas thinking he was not going to make it and he did he pulled through with a lot of work but lost both of his legs do to the fact that he had no circulation and they turned black and he lost a few fingers well they live in Texas and have no family around so my other uncle is supporting them and he bought them a house in West Virginia where he lives so family will be near to help my aunt with him and such well they will be leaving Texas on the 9th of this month and taking there time stopping a lot at different places on there way up here because it hurts him to sit in the car for to long well my grandparents talk to him every night on the phone and he wants my grandparents to be over there when they get there and stuff and I live with my grandparents me and Callie and when my grandparents were in Texas for his recovery my parents came over and stayed with me and Callie (they live about 30 minutes away) and it got hard because they have two dogs and 4 goats so for a month we had to go down there like 2 times a day and altho I am almost 20 my anxiety gets the best of me and I honestly could not stay by myself even tho i have Callie even with my parents 30 minutes away I just wouldnt sleep and stuff and I think that they will need me over in West Virginia if they have to move furniture and boxes and stuff and they have a dog who is a small mix that is really old and grumpy to people so I know having Callie around her would be a bad idea because Callies still a puppy and shes hyper and wants to play so I thought well maybe a play pen but she would be so unhappy in that and my grandpa is like well we could take her and board her somewhere over where we will be for like two days and I am 100 percent against that my baby would not eat without me, I dont even think I could eat with out her or sleep and she has never been alone without someone and I just couldnt do it so the next thought was well my uncle who lives in West Virginia now and bought the house for my other uncle said me and Callie could come and stay at his house they have meet Callie when they came down here after Christmas and they fell in love with her and she loves them as well, falling asleep in my uncles arms and they used to have a dog but it passed away and I was thinking well maybe I could find a doggy day care that she could stay at for a few hours while I help my other uncle move and stuff and then go back to my other uncles house with her. This is so hard for me even when she is playing at the dog park she always turns her head to make sure mommy is there and when she would go to a groomer and be left there for a few hours and I would get her back she would always be shaking when I got her back (sense then we now use a mobile groomer who parks in the driveway grooms her and then gives her right back, she likes the groomer and I like knowing shes not alone in a cage or anything) so I donno what to do. Help please. Sorry this is so long and I hope it understandable.

I did have trouble reading your post. Periods and new paragraphs help organize thoughts and make it easier to read.

It sounds like you are really worried. I think the playpen is a good idea, that way you can be near her. She might not like it, but at least you know she'll be safe and out of the way. When you get some free time, play with her and then put her back in the pen. Does this answer your question?

I think the play pen is the best for both of you two!! Try some resale shops- for a cheaper one!!Or I got mine at Wal- mart!I'd start putting her in there- for her naps, short times- get her started getting use to it- and I think she will be just fine- you know she will be with you and safe!
Hope everything works out for you and your family!!
sounds like you got a family that stick's together!!!!

I think the playpen or an xpen will work out well. If she's outside while you are moving, be careful with hawks and such. I would put a fitted sheet over anything if left outside while going back and forth. If she's inside she'll be set, though I'm not sure if her space will get in the way of moving

I would try the playpen. You may be surprised how well they settle down in a safe place like a crate por playpen. I understand your anxiety with staying alone. I am 55 and do not like to be alone at night even with 4 dogs. So maybe taking her with and using the playpen is the best solution. Good luck.

You sound like a really good mommy and mommies really never stopped worrying; but we do need to learn to control our worrying. Once you have thought through the problem, which you have, and made a list of pros and cons, which you have, you have to then choose the best course of action. You have even sought advice from others. It is up to you now to choose what will work best for you. Good luck with your decision, and try to control all that worrying.

I think the playpen and the doggy day care are both good ideas. I sense from your post that you are an anxious kind of person and she may be picking up on that anxiety so as hard as it is, try to get yourself into a comfortable frame of mind regardless of what you decide to do and I think she will have an easier time. Good Luck!

I found a pen on ebay like $50.00 cheaper then the ones at our pet store that comes with a bag for it and an extra thing is its pink! Both houses have basments so if i have to I can set it up down there and out of the way. I try to be a goopd mommy

Hello! Sorry I couldn't get the whole story and maybe I misunderstood but if you ever need a doggy sitter for a day here or a day there, feel free to PM me. I live in Brandywine so I'm what, 5-10 mins away? Sounds like you've got a plan though but just wanted to let you know there's someone in your "neighborhood" if you ever needed anything!

SEE! THIS, is what YT is all about! This is good of you to offer your support of babsitting!
i cant offer to babysit but do wish you luck in your decision... I would go wit the play pen, or even an x-pen that you can move inside or out.....
good luck!
