I am so tired of people making their stupid comments. Yesterday I had to run in to the bank quickly so I brought Kiki in with me (holding her in my arms) so she wouldn't be in the car alone. I approach the teller and she excitedly says "oh is she a Yorkie" and I tell her yes. She then asks me if she is a toy. I was like, um, Kiki is 6 pounds but Yorkshire Terriers are a toy breed. She then says so snotty, well I have a TOY YORKIE, he is only 3 pounds and he isn't going to get any bigger. Whatever, obviously she didn't even know what she was buying. She probably paid a lot extra for someone calling her puppy a toy.

You should have told her NO She is REAL no batteries or anything!!! that usually gets them.

That is ridiculous!!!!

She is obviously totally clueless. Bella is now 7 pounds and whenever I take her for a walk someone always tells me that she is "huge".

Even if that were true and my sweet angel was "huge," why would you ever say that to someone!!!!!!!

i hate when people ask if me if star is a teacup or a toy..

it's almost not even worth explaining because they still don't get it.

I have 2 favorite sayings: "stupid should hurt more" and "there should be a vaccine for stupidity!"

Sounds like either one would apply in this situation!

Come on guys....not everyone in the world is "up" on what is kosher in yorkiedom and what is not....heck I've learned volumes just since I have been on here, and used the term "teacup" myself when I had my Rocky, but now I know that there is really no such thing. You guys can't really go out in the streets calling folks stupid now.

I have the same problem with people saying things like with my Chihuahuas!

Now ^ that is funny as Hell... AHAHA I do get the whole teacup/toy thing because Abby is 3 lbs and ppl always say that and I have to live correcting them. But I love it when ppl think she is a Chihuahuas!! I am like where do u see that in my dog and I crack up laughing.
