How do you research pedigrees/bloodlines?

If your dog is AKC registered, you can go to their site and buy the pedigree for 4-5 generations.

That isn't exactly what i meant. He is registered with the canadian kennel club but i am looking for things is some of the names in his pedigree well known? where do i find that?

You might be able to post some of the names in his pedigree in the breeder's section and they could tell how good those lines are. You could also google some of the names. This kind of research in very difficult unless you know the breeder very well and they know their lines.

Is that what you meant?
