| Can you believe this ? This is what was on our local news station this morning. Evidently ( what appears to be ) a backyard breeder decided that they no longer wanted their dogs and dumped them in a local National Forest west of the CT River. I couldn't stop crying when I saw this, but the good news is that all of them are okay and most are already placed, but of Course, I have a big knot in my stomach now thinking ...what if they didn't find them all? How do they know there are just 11? I can't stand this! What is wrong with people? http://www.wfsb.com/video/15736818/index.html ( I originally posted this in the wrong area ) __________________ |

| There is so much of this kind of stuff out there...as someone said before me: The more I learn about people, the more I love my dogs. It goes without saying that I am saddened by this. I wish I could say I'm surprised. It seems there are two kinds of animal owners (I can't even say pet owners, it is obvious those dogs were not anyone's pets). Those who take responsibility for the lives in their hands and those who do not. I wish there was a way to stop the latter group from ever having any animals as it always leads to heartache for the animals and adds to the overpopulation we are already experiencing. I hope he/she is stopped before anymore are abandoned and that all are found.

| Its amazing to me how people just dispose of animals as if they are actually trash! I once saw on Animal Police NY that a woman did not want her pups so she through them in the trash can.........literally, she put them in a plastic bag, tied it up and put them in the bottom of the pail! She acted as if it was no big deal. Thankfully, the police responded and saved the pups but if it was not for a neighbor who saw or heard something they would of all died!

| They have not mentioned the name of the person ( or persons ) responsible yet, but when they do there will be holy hell to pay for that individual(s). A few months ago there was a man who mistreated his dog and was arrested and put in jail for quite some time, but with each court appearance he had there was an outcry of people making sure that justice was served for that poor dog. |

| V, they never mentioned how long those poor dogs were wandering outside, but by their appearance it seems to have been quite some time, unless that was an indication of the kind of care he/she took of them. The area they left them at is a beautiful big forest and that they were able to find and save any is a miracle in itself. |

| WOW.. between animal art and now dropping animals like they are trash... Needless to say this angers me.. I really hope that they find this person and dump him/her the same way that they did these poor babies.. What did they ever do to them??? Probably not given enough puppies.. who's to say .. GGRRRRR We really need to get tougher on the animal cruelty issues.. NO slap on the wrists.. this is attempted murder!!!! PLAIN AND SIMPLE .. they should be tried for just that attempted murder.. see how smart they think they are... OH I am REALLY

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Some People!!!! The laws that protect human victims are limited. It seems to me that laws for animals are practically nonexistant. I wish we could do more to get laws passed to punish these people. They should be put away for doing this kind of thing to any living thing that can not defend itself. GRRRRR!!!!
