| Anybody been on vacation with 5 yorkies? Yep, we're taking the RV to Florida in a few weeks with the 5 babies! To be honest, I'm really stressed about it. My crew is not the most well behaved bunch; they bark like crazy at strangers and other dogs. I can just picture our walks on the beach! I'll have 2 ex-pens hooked together for them so they can be outside at times. Any advice on how to make them behave would be great! A little prayer would be nice too.

| Your crew sounds like ours. We had company for 4 days through Easter. Bless their hearts they probably couldn't take anymore. Two barked almost constantly, and when they did get quite they barked if anyone even moved to go the the bathroom. The other one almost licked them to death. We just stay home. Vacation with my bunch would be a nightmare. Hope yours is fun. You are brave. I wouldn't go around the corner with all three of mine at the same time. lol!!!! |

| I can handle the barking, etc much better than DH, he's the one that will have a nervous breakdown; and I need him to drive! This may be our one and only trip this summer!

| I would like to be a fly on the wall on this vacation. I can't help you but want to wish you a great and safe vacation. Take valium with you. Somehow I think you'll need it. |

| Yes, I have. It's a lot of work, but I wouldn't have it any other way... Most of mine are pretty well behaved, except Maddie. She's a little brat because she was the first baby, and she knows it. She will bark at ANYTHING...lol |

| I could not take a trip with the DH without valium, much less having Tricksie on board. Will stay home in sunny FL, by the pool.

| When my husband and I first got into Yorkies we were doing trade shows and we spent a great deal of time in our 28' travel trailer. Sometimes we would be gone two weeks, come home a few days and then go out again. We sold small antiques and collectibles. We started with one Yorkie and by the time we quit going to the shows we had 7 Yorkies traveling with us. For the most part they were all really good but they did have their moments. You will probably find that they will get used to seeing people around and they will not much attention to them. You might want to take some old sheets along to hang on one side of the x-pens if they get stressed seeing too many people. Also take something to drape over the x-pen to keep them from getting to hot or sunburned. Just be very careful not to let any get out without being on a leash. Also, take water for them, a change in water could cause problems. I hope you have a wonderful vacation and take lots of pictures to share with us. |

| My suggestion is to buy some Rescue Remedy for the dogs "and" for you. (it's all natural and it DOES work) Remember, what ever mood your in, the dogs will pick up on it. So stay calm, and have a great vacation! |

| I use a squirt bottle to discourage barking when walking the dogs. It works great on all of them except one. I guess Dylan doesn't mind getting squirted and would rather bark and suffer the consequences. LOL At least it quiets the other 3 down. |

| I've never used Rescue Remedy....where can I find it? Is it just to calm them?
