| Hello... My name is Teresa, I'm new to YorkieTalk, and actually to message boards as a whole. I had a wonderful little girl, Annie B, for the last 7 years. She got very sick this month and after many tests and exhausting all options I had to make that most painful of decisions on Tues. I don't need to tell ya'll what wonderful dogs these Yorkies are, my heart has such a huge hole in it right now. My husbands Yorkie, Boo, is doing his best to help his momma, but he's missing his sista too. I wish I had found this place earlier, I know ya'll would have been a great support thru all of this. I see from the other posts that this seems to be a tight community. If/when I can figure out how to post pictures I'll get some of Boo up. The whole avatar thing has me bumfuzzled, but I'll work on that too. My husband is encouraging me to look around to see about getting a new best friend, I'm not sure if it isn't too soon. But he says it will all fall into place when it's meant to happen. I don't know but that he doesn't want another one to help fill the void in his heart. Annie was his first exposure to Yorkies, and she really made him see what wonderful dogs they are. He'd always been a "Big Dog" person before. lol He just didn't know big dogs come in small packages. Boo is all boy and they have great times together. He can't imagine life without him now. Anyway, I'm glad I found this site. If you've made it this far, thanks for letting me ramble on. I'm sure I'll bore you all to tears once I figure out how to post pictures. Be sure to give your babies an extra hug today, they are with us entirely too short a time. |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Welcome to YT and please accept my condolences on the passing of your baby. I recently got a new baby after my baby girl passed on New Years Eve. Believe me you will know when it's time. A few hours after I felt so lonely and empty that I knew I couldn't live yorkie free life. Good luck on your search.

| Welcome!!! I'm so sorry to hear of your baby passing over the rainbow bridge You will know when it is right for you to get another. Make sure to research the breeder you go with as there are so many now days that are breeding poor quality yorkies, which I'm sure you know. I'm glad you found us and hope you have a good time here. Again a very warm welcome and a great big cyber hug |

| Hi, Teresa! So glad you're here. I'm sorry you lost your baby...it's very hard. They're more like our kids than dogs, aren't they. Look forward to talking with you! Hugs! |

| Thanks everyone. I appreciate the welcome. I think I'm going to take my husbands advice and tentatively start looking around. It was obvious when we got Boo that it was meant to be, because it all feel into place in just a matter of days. So, if anyone knows of a female in the Dallas/Ft Worth area, puppy or young adult, I'd be most grateful if you'd keep me in mind. Until then Boo will just have to deal with lots of lovin' from both his daddy and momma. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Welcome! I an so sorry for the loss of your beloved Annie B. I lost Dixie, a 6 month old in January to kidney failure and the breeder gave me Roxie too "replace her" 2 weeks later. I wasn't really ready and the first week or so were rough but she did worm her way into my heart and help with the healing. You will know when the time is right, but I bet it will be soon. Can't wait to see pictures. If you need help posting pics just let us know.
