| Belly Band and Long Haired Yorkies Hi all I just purchased a belly band today, since Louie hasn't stop marking eventhough I got him neutered. My question is, How do you put a belly band if the baby have a really long hair? Is there anyway of gathering the hair so it doesn't get peed on?

| I would shave the area under the belly band. But leave the long side hairs hang down. |

| There is no hair under his belly, the hair is on his body. When I put on the band, the hair get put inside in the band.

| When my Gizmo is sporting full length hair i just pull the hair horizontally alongside the body and wrap the band around. But most of the time i have his hair cut shorter in that area. |

| I usually just do one or two pony tails along his back with the hair in that area. I gather it all up on top of his back in a band, then put the belly band on.

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | I always keep my boy in a shorter cut...not shaved though, I just trim it myself with scissors. He wears a belly band 99% of the time and if his hair is long, it always becomes a tangled mess with the belly band on I'd love him to have a longer coat like my little girl, but for us, it just doesn't work with the belly band.
